State of Georgia, Homeless Services Web site
In case anyone need help in Georgia, I've found a website that could be very useful. It covers the entire state, and opens with a clickable map. You can click on it by reagon, then select "search for services" from the menu and click on the particular county you are in and select exactly what kind of service you need, such "single father with children", baby supplies, housing - emergency services, "day shelter", medical services, food pantries, clothes closets, rent assistance, and so forth.
I would suggest you select one or two items at a time as it is unlikely any one place will be able to meet all your needs, though you can try it.
It will then give you a complete list of agencies that you can click on and find their location and basic information, directions, etc. but if you then select the "printable list", it shows a very detailed list of the services, hours, any costs, etc. Many of the agencies have web sites and phone numbers listed.
The site is sponsored by the Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness. I think it is well done and will be useful to any homeless in the state.
Here is the website
