hello, I am writing this from Germany. My daughter is an international student in Australia and she is writing an assignment. She has been trying to find out how many homeless young people Gold Coast city has. After nearly a week she has not found anything. I promised to help her. That's why I'm asking you!! Can you help.

I was homeless myself. but, now I would like to do research on homeless issues, and bring the truth about homelessness from an economic point of view to light. but, i've found no useful or any data done on homelessness.
i've found no data, to support any claims on the causes and effects of homelessness, which is not bias in a political sense. if anyone knows, where to find any factual data. please let me know.

thank for the hint, that my daughter must do this on her own. The problem is that it is a lot of money to go into an internet cafe for days if you are an international student. Going to Australia with 16 is independent enough.

hello Konstantin, yes your right, it is an amazing part in our technical developement, and I must say I wouldn't like to miss it. It is interesting to see the reactions of people all over the world. Without this networking, we would only have one way of looking at things.

Ok. if the point is taken and you are saving money to find out, then the answer is call the Gold Coast Youth Service. They are the best funded service in the region so would have excellent information on the homeless population and service participation rates: http://www.goldcoastyouthservice.com/ and would be great at answering any other questions for the assignment.

thanks, I sended the news to my daughter. She is getting on quite well.
I have looked at the conditions in Germany, because I haven't done that for years now. I'm a sozial padagogic? working with immigration kids. Teaching them german and so on.
