An perfect Imbalance

Eight o’clock in the morning to midnight as I halt in silence my clothes cling to my body in the rain and as I halt in silence dreaming and forgetting, a long days journey as I dissolve into the streets. I will always be a stranger to my home in the quiet motionlessness and the static imbalance of it all. Has the climate warmed to the homeless plight and the true impact addressed? Where is the stream for hope the consistent internal question as I lose my identity at an ever-increasing rate, but pride avoids the victim stance and always did. The fractured approach, policy the core issues and complex needs of the homeless individual are not being addressed in an accurate manner this is a savage measure of insufficiency around the policy of the running down of public housing stock (put them in a boarding house and all will be well) The true impact of spending time, the psychological impact is yet to be unpacked. Previous models around homelessness have always been subjective as I have always stated (to me it is an intrinsic state of unrest) If I may suggest the answer is in consumer participation in policy. I have been homeless on several occasions always questioning my identity picking up bumpers to smoke and living in parks with a bottle of port as a teddy bear. Is crisis accommodation proactive in sociol change (if so why we do see the ongoing treadmills, revolving doors (the homeless industry) Are the workers being properly supported and supervision this indeed begs a question. I am inspired with a vision of change via consumer participation. Where is our emotional ethos for the downtrodden homeless punter?. Have we lost our disquieting intelligence where is our sense of community gone? Our sense of reason compassion. Are homeless people just a mathematical anomaly? As the gap widens between them and us I will always be a quiet stranger in my home in the quiet silence.
