Hi,
I help run 2 homeless hostels, a Soup Van and a Drop in centre. Homes are scarce and rents are high. Our focus has had to shift from finding Homes to maintaining the human spirit and helping homeless people connect with society.
I am looking for good projects that have worked for others. I would really like to hear from the guy's that have used the services, about what they achieved from it, what was good about it etc.
Currently we have a small program to train chefs, an art and music program purely for recreational reasons, a library/reading room, a meals service, life skills training, computers.
Any Other Ideas? Think outside the square!
