fisherman for the homeless.

my name is Ron .me and my brother have been donating fish and wild hog meat to the homeless for the past two years.
we have stated a web site http://fishermanforthehomeless.com/ with the intent of getting alot of the sportsman involed all over the USA.
but i can use some help.
I need names and web links to some of the homeless shelters and or providers for all 48 states.
we would like to make this a national (non-profit) organization.
so we can use any ideas you mite have.

There is a sub forum for the USA the click link to which is below. If you go there and read the threads you will find many service providers listed. Perhaps if you can contact one in any particular state they in turn will provide the addresses of the others in their state. In other words contact one service provider and ask if they know who else is providing a similar service in that state.

You can also do a ' google search.' Just type in " homeless " and whatever state you choose. Example .. homeless [in] Florida ... That should bring back names and addresses of service providers.

Maybe it would also help to post again in the the USA sub forum, you might get more results, and even some answers from homeless people themselves. Welcome to the homeless forums .. I hope that you find what you're looking for here.

That is an amazing idea you have and a very noble ambition as Tom said the internet will have contact information for most providers and as he said the service providers can give you more information about nearby providers and other brances of the same organisation.

You could start with one big organisation who will have services in most states.

thanks guys i looked at the theards and did not find alot of what i was looking for.

Pastor J whent and posted allmost all the providers in the USA on my site.

out of the US 48 states there was 4 states that did not have anything for the homeless.

must be good states to not have any homeless needing help :confused:

u give me a couple of years and this will be national (non-profit) organization.
we have over 20 tournaments planned after the first of May.

we have had two this month.With great turnout and over 500 pounds of fish donated from each tournament.

u got a pole lets go fishing !
