I'm considering working in the welfare field and am very interested in homelessness. I was wondering what formal qualifications people have and what they recomend in terms of courses and so on. I know I can do volunteer work to get experience and i have leaned a lot reading these forums but am interested to know what is the best course to do. I am from Australia but the question is open to everyone to give advice for others considering the same issue no matter where they are from.
